MAILING LIST

 As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about stuff you’ve asked us to tell you about; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don't rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.

We use a third-party provider, MailChimp and Squarespace, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. FACEBOOK ADS (CONVERSION TRACKING FACEBOOK PIXEL)

 This website uses the Facebook pixel, a small piece of JavaScript code, that is added to the website in order to optimise ads, report on the success of advertising campaigns across devices and target ads to the audience. The Facebook pixel sends information about your browsing session through HTTP headers to Facebook, including the IP address, information about the web browser, page location, document, referrer and web browser user agent. Pixel-specific data includes pixel ID and Facebook cookie data to connect the events to a specific Facebook ad account and to make a match to a person known by Facebook. Facebook checks whether the person has previously seen or interacted with an ad from our account or if the person matches an audience rule and prepares an analytics report, which contains anonymized or aggregated data. Facebook keeps the information collected from the pixels for 180 days and stores the data collected in its production data centres in the US and in Sweden. It is easy to stop receiving these newsletters by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ button found on the bottom of each communication we send.

 If there is an issue with your order or we need to refund/take any further payments, we may need to call you on the phone.

 If you are a winner of a competition, we will use your personal details to notify you that you have won a prize.

WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

We hope that you will love your Muse purchases, however, if there is any issue we are able to offer a refund on items that are returned to us in the original packaging, unopened and in their original condition within 14 days.

The return postage cost is the responsibility of the buyer and we are unable to take responsibility for the items whilst in transit, so we recommend using a secure and tracked postage service as well as keeping proof of postage. We are unable to authorise any refund until we have received the returned item in its original condition and will not take responsibility for any items that are lost, stolen or damaged in the post so please take care to cover yourself.

 Once we have received the item the refund will be processed within 14 days and the money refunded to the original payment source, i.e the debit/ credit card or paypal used for the purchase.

 We are unable to offer refunds on any custom items made to order.

 Faulty Items

 All our pieces go through quality control before they are sent out, however, should the item arrive damaged or a manufacturing fault occurs with the item within three months of your purchase we will either exchange or repair the item. Please contact us immediately should this happen. Damage through general wear and tear or accidental damage does not fall under faulty items and if on return we deem this to be the case there will be no exchange or repair and there will also be a charge to send it back to you.

DELIVERY TIMES

Your order will be dispatched within 1-2 working days. If you have ordered a custom made to order item this will be despatched within 3 working days. If there is a delay for any reason we will contact you.

You will receive confirmation by email once your order has been dispatched.

Should you urgently need an item for a certain date or special occasion please contact us at hello@museincense.com, we will do our utmost to get the item to you by the required date.

DELIVERY COSTS

Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 1st Class. This service typically takes 1-2 days from the date of dispatch. 

Gift wrapping is available upon request. If you would like your piece gift wrapped, please contact us for more details.

PACKAGING

Your parcel will be posted in a recyclable cardboard box or card envelope.

Items sent to the gift recipient’s address at your request.  Please contact us prior to dispatch.

RETURNS

We hope you Love your new Muse items! But if there has been damage caused in transit please CONTACT US within 5 calendar days of receiving your order.

If you have changed your mind, then please CONTACT US within 14 calendar days to organise its return and a refund or replacement. You will need to return your item in perfect condition and in its original packaging.   You have 14 days from the date you receive your goods to notify us that you have changed your mind. 

We will be unable to provide refunds or replacements where damage has been caused by accident, neglect or misuse.

We strongly recommend that you return your item using tracked delivery. Any other delivery method is at your own risk and we will be unable to refund items lost in transit where they are not insured in transit.

Custom orders may not be eligible for refund or exchange.

DAMAGED ITEMS

If you should receive an item that is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, please CONTACT US within 5 working days and provide an image of the damaged goods. We will help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible by replacing the item and arrange for you to return the faulty item to us by post. Should this occur, we will cover additional delivery costs and re-arrange delivery of a new replacement item.  We will confirm the return address in writing, once you have contacted us about the fault. 

If you suspect a parcel has been damaged in transit, parcels should be opened in the presence of the Courier upon receipt of the goods.  This will allow you to verify that the Goods are contained in the parcel are untampered with and undamaged. Should you fail to do this, and subsequently find the Goods are not contained therein, or have been damaged during delivery, we may not be able to claim against the Courier or against our insurers. Accordingly, if you do fail to do this, you agree that you will be solely liable for any such loss or damage and shall waive, release and indemnify us from and against any claims relating thereto, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you wish to cancel an order placed online at www.museincense.com that has not yet been dispatched, please email us at hello@museincense.com within 14 calendar days of your order date.  Please note that once your order has been dispatched, we are unable to cancel it. Once you have received your order, you have 14 days to CONTACT US to request a refund, then a further 14 days to return the item to us. The item(s) will need to be returned in perfect, unworn condition and in their original packaging to be eligible for a refund. In this circumstance, please follow the above return instructions. 

Your refund will be processed within 10 calendar days.

The above does not affect your statutory rights.

Purchases exempt from both the refund and exchange policies, unless they are structurally faulty are:

 - Customised pieces (pieces that have been altered from their original design shown online).

FOR ROYAL MAIL LOST DELIVERIES:

UK Delivery - We unfortunately cannot refund or replace lost items until 20 working days after the date of dispatch (30 days for international items) as this is when the Royal Mail classes items as being lost.

Muse Incense cannot be held responsible for goods that are lost or delayed in transit.
